This month Rachel is 4 yrs and 4 months old. It seems like overnight she has learned new things like how to color inside the lines & how to use the pencil sharpener. She is writing her name correctly with upper R and lowercase letters.
Mostly it's just amazing to hold a conversation with her since her vocabulary is growing at a crazy pace. Examples are Yucky is replaced with "disgusting", clothes are now "laundry", food on a plate is now "a meal".
The most challenging part of being her parent is listening to the logical explanations for why something should be done her way and then listening to her negotiate her position.
It is very difficult to get a photo of her without her taking pose and acting fancy, as this one shows. PS: My sewing is improving - this is the latest outfit I made for her!
