Labor Day weekend was an outdoor adventure. We buddied up with friends and canoed down the Buffalo River. What should be a 2 hour trip was nearly 3 1/2 for us! We had a picnic lunch on the bank of the river and stopped often to swim and play. The kids just loved it and constantly told us to paddle faster to beat the other canoe! (Here's a video of the silly kids.) That evening the men worked up steaks & veggies on the grill and then started a campfire. The kids had pizza pockets and smores and loved playing in the dark. What a great day!
