Will Hoge concert

Last night Greg & I joined friends for a concert at 12th and Porter. Until last night, I'd never heard of Will Hoge and now I'll never forget him! His songs are still ringing in my head this morning.

Who is Will Hoge? He is multi-talented - songwriter/singer who plays guitar, mandolin, harmonica. I'd describe his music as rock with a story-telling edge. Incredible vocals. Folks drove for hours to come hear him. Turns out his inner strength is as powerful as his vocals. For the past year, he has been recovering from a scooter accident that left him with 2 collapsed lungs, broken ribs, bones and facial injuries. The 6-inch rod in his leg didn't seem to slow him down on stage - a little limp, but the energy (reminding me of The Boss) was still very present. This was one of Will's come-back shows since the accident and several guests that have written or played with him in the past showed up last night to perform with Will. Rock On!
