This week Rachel surprised Greg with an invitation to a Father-Daughter Ball. Greg was thrilled and honestly, I think he was even more excited than Rachel. The ball, which is fancy for a dance, included a photo session, corsage, and cookies & punch. They were attending with 2 sets of friends. I hope they manage to get a group picture.
As part of her prepartion this afternoon, Rachel took a leisurely bath. I did her nails and hair while she wore her bathrobe. I kept thinking of how big she's getting. Her maturity is changing. After she dressed in her finest dress and new heart tights, she instructed Daddy to button his jacket buttons to look more like a gentleman. Both looked terrific and were eager to head out the door together.
