Rachel's latest kindergarten project was building a leprechaun trap. She was so excited about it that she instantly sat down with Greg on the first night to draw the plans. She designed it herself and told me the list the items that I needed to buy at the store. She followed Greg around the house gathering the other materials and did almost all of the construction herself. I even gave her plastic gloves to spray paint the lava rocks into golden nuggets.
Here's the details, per Rachel:
The leprechaun will see the pot of gold and golden nuggets.
He will see the rainbow to get to the pot of gold.
He will not see the net because it is hiding in a tree.
He will take a piece of gold that will be tied with string to the net under the rainbow.
When he takes the gold, the string will get pulled and the net will fall down on him.
He will be stuck in the net!
