This week Rachel and I had our routine cleanings at the dentist. For the first time I scheduled our appointments at the same time with different hygienists, rather than going back to back, which of course takes much longer. I brought David along to watch Rachel and get acquainted with the whole thing. He's now due to start dentist appointments, too.
Rachel's teeth look great, as usual - can I hear an Amen! However, she was shocked to learn that her two lower front teeth are loose! At first she didn't believe it. But, sure enough - I can wiggle them! It may be a few months before they actually fall out, but it's clear that the big kid teeth are starting to push them out!
David handled the observation time well and seems only slightly hesitant to go back. I've scheduled him this afternoon. I keep reminding him that he'll be able to pick a toy out of the treasure chest afterwards. He's very excited about that since he saw a yellow car in there while Rachel was picking her toy on Tuesday.
